Mauritius IBAN Format
30-character IBAN · MUR Mauritian Rupee
A Mauritius IBAN is 30 characters long and always begins with the country code MU, followed by two check digits. The next 6 characters are the Bank Code. This is followed by the Branch Code (2 characters). The remaining 15 characters identify the individual account number. The Mauritius IBAN uses the MUR (Mauritian Rupee) and is not part of the SEPA zone, so international transfer fees and timelines apply.

$iban = strtoupper(str_replace(' ', '', $input));
if (!preg_match('/^MU\\d{2}[A-Z0-9]{6}\\d{2}\\d{15}[A-Z]{3}$/', $iban)) {
