United Arab Emirates IBAN Format
23-character IBAN · AED UAE Dirham
A United Arab Emirates IBAN is 23 characters long and always begins with the country code AE, followed by two check digits. The next 3 characters are the Bank Code. The remaining 16 characters identify the individual account number. The United Arab Emirates IBAN uses the AED (UAE Dirham) and is not part of the SEPA zone, so international transfer fees and timelines apply.
